Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 4 low-carb burger buns
- Mayonnaise for topping
- Lettuce leaves optional
- Tomato slices optional
- Red onion slices optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Turn the heat up to medium-high on your stovetop pan or grill
Form the four equal portions of ground turkey into burger patties
Add salt and pepper to each patty
Put a piece of bacon around each turkey patty, securing it with toothpicks if necessary
When the bacon is crispy and the turkey is cooked through, place the bacon-wrapped turkey patties on the grill or in the pan and cook for about 45 minutes on each side
Slice the avocado and get ready any extra toppings you want, like lettuce, tomato, and red onion, while the burgers are cooking
After the turkey burgers are done, take them off the burner and throw away any toothpicks that may have been used
Spread a thick layer of mayonnaise on the bottom bun before assembling the low-carb buns
Top each bottom bun with a turkey patty, avocado slices, and any additional toppings that you choose
