This Simple Olive Oil Pasta recipe is a quick and easy dish that's perfect for a busy weeknight. It's made with just a handful of ingredients, including garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes, for a flavorful yet simple sauce. Tossed with freshly cooked pasta and finished with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, it's a satisfying meal that comes together in no time.

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions:

Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta until it is al dente

Remove the water and set it aside

Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat

Cut up some garlic and red pepper flakes and add them

Keep stirring for about one minute, or until the garlic smells good but doesn't turn brown

Add pasta that has been cooked to the pan

Toss the pasta well to cover it with the olive oil mix

To taste, add salt and black pepper

You can add chopped parsley now

Grate some Parmesan cheese on top and serve hot
